Why install the Mente Marine ACS system on your boat?
The Mente Marine ACS (Automatic Control System) automatically adjusts your trim tabs to keep your boat properly balanced and running at optimal trim. Instead of constantly adjusting the tabs manually, the ACS system makes continuous micro-adjustments to improve ride comfort, fuel efficiency, and overall handling.

Can I install the ACS system myself?
Yes! The ACS system is designed as a simple retrofit that most boat owners can install themselves in about 30 minutes.
The controller replaces your existing trim tab control panel at the helm and connects to the existing wiring.
No hydraulic or mechanical work is required.
The system is compatible with most trim tab brands, including:
- Lenco
- Bennett
- Lectrotab
- QL / Volvo Penta
- and most other common trim tab systems

When will I receive my order?
Delivery time depends on inventory availability and your location.
In many cases, orders ship the same day they are placed. Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with tracking information.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method selected.
What is your return policy?
If you are not satisfied with your ACS system, we are happy to accept returns within 90 days of your purchase date for a full refund or exchange for a different unit.
Simply send us an email with the original order number or use the "contact us" form, and we will issue a return shipment label within 48 hours. Refunds are processed after we have received the returned product minus the return postage.
Products must be good, working condition including original accessories.
Are any purchases final?
Yes. Certain special-order products, most commonly units configured for twin-station helm applications, are considered final sale and cannot be returned.
Where are Mente Marine products manufactured?
All Mente Marine electronics and components are designed and manufactured in Finland, where the company has been producing marine control systems for decades.

What is your warranty policy?
24-month limited warranty for the original purchaser (non-transferable).
All ACS (Attitude Control System) units purchased directly through autotrimtabs.com are warranted to the original purchaser only and are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of original purchase.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser. This warranty will terminate immediately if (i) the vessel on which the unit is installed is sold or otherwise transferred, or (ii) the unit is removed and resold or transferred to another party.
During the 24-month warranty period, the manufacturer’s sole obligation shall be, at its discretion, to repair or replace any defective product or component. This warranty applies only to the product itself and does not cover installation, removal, labor, haul-out, downtime, or any related costs.
This warranty does not apply to damage or failure resulting from impact, liquid intrusion, misuse, abuse, mishandling, improper installation, chemical corrosion, operation contrary to instructions, or any modification or repair performed by an unauthorized party.
Any product believed to be defective must be returned as directed. If the product is determined to be covered under warranty, it will be repaired or replaced and returned. All shipping costs to and from the service location are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Proof of original purchase is required for warranty service. Please retain your purchase receipt or invoice for at least two (2) years.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the manufacturer and distributor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of revenue, or damage to the vessel or other equipment, arising from the use of or inability to use the product.
